Japanese Language School 日本語学校
Japanese Language School for Kids is located in Whitehorse. This class is held once a week for the purpose of learning Japanese as an inherited language. Students learn how to read and write letters and about Japanese culture.

週に一回、継承語としての日本語学習を目的に開催しています。文字の読み書きや日本文化について学びます。
Japanglish ジャパングリッシュ
We welcome all levels, from beginners to experts!
First 45 minutes session will be in English, guided by native English speakers. Then, 45 minutes in Japanese, guided by Japanese speakers (this is self-learning, so there is no instructor). 4-5 people in each group.
In the past, we had hand roll sushi making, miso / koji learning, calligraphy, and other fun activities!
Age: 15 and above. It’s free for all JCAY members, and Drop-Ins are encouraged!
最初の45分は英語、後半は日本語でのセッションです。4、5人のグループに分かれて、自己学習(セルフラーニング)という形で言語を学べます。どなたでもご参加いただけます。みんなで手巻き寿司を作ったり、味噌や麹について学んだり、書道などをしています
Yukon Taiko ユーコン太鼓
Yukon Taiko is a Japanese Taiko drumming group based in Whitehorse, formed in 2015 under the Japanese Canadian Association of Yukon.
Yukon Taiko はホワイトホースで活動する太鼓グループです。2015 年にJCAYのもとで発足されました。
